The French Section of Médecins Sans Frontières is recruiting for its project in Jahun:

NURSE DAILY WORKER POOL

CONTEXT

Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Ensure the implementation of the Obstetrics program in Jahun and work toward delivery of quality care in the VVF, ICU, NICU or OT Area in accordance with MSF protocols;

•  In collaboration with MOH and MSF, improve the care of patient stay during readiness for discharge;

•  Observe and respect the MSF Charter and adhere to the work schedule as per roster;

•  Treat the patient with care and respect, providing good quality care and ensuring privacy and confidentiality.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CONDITIONS

• Nigerian Registered Nursing Qualification with minimum of I year of active clinical experience since graduation;
•  Strong work ethic, commitment to humanitarian objectives and       patient care;
• •  Fluent in spoken and written English and Hausa.

WORK LOCATION

Jahun Hospital, Jigawa State (Nigeria).

WORK HOURS

Recruitment is for daily worker pool: workers will be requested according to project needs. Availability for 12 hour shifts, night or day is required.
