Being A Nurse Taught Me To Be Humble... Female Nurse Wednesday Meet @thandimayeks I work as a nurse mentor and my duties are from providing direct patient management to technical assistance, improving and innovating public health care systems . I am an RN working for CDC funded NGO in South Africa. Being a nurse taught me to be humble, empathetic and to respect others and their delicate needs despite their diversity. It taught me to be strong and courageous despite any challenging circumstances because it is indeed rewarding to see that patient who was hopeless with all the opportunistic infections and low CD4 count, recovering and full of hope to carry on with life.
